WE HAVE experienced MANY HAPPY FAMILY HOLIDAYS AT ANGLESEA OVER THE YEARS enjoying MANY MEMORABLE moments shared with OUR whole FAMILY.
THE COAST HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN INSPIRATION FOR ME TO DRAW AND PAINT. MANY OF MY ILLUSTRATIONS HAVE BEEN 'REALISTIC' INTERPRETATIONS AND OTHERS MORE IMAGINED COMPOSITES, SUCH AS THis BIG ACRYLIC OF "SURF COAST MEMORIES' PAINTED JOINTLY WITH OUR GRANDSON ACE.

a compilation of all our memories and the places we know well at anglesea and along the surf coast - including the Anglesea house, kangaroos on the golf course, the open cut alcoa coal mine, the fun fair at christmas time near the campground, surfers, kite flyers, the lorne pier, the airey's inlet lighthouse, a shark, a manta ray and seal in the water, all pulled together in a colorful compilation.
we entered this painting in the "annual surf coast calendar" competition and exhibition for fun.
another memorable anglesea hideout on one of our coastal walks called "the fairy park" formed part of our inspiration for the artworks and idea to create the book "the fairies of plant street"
